Opportunity Seekers

If you are seeking a new opportunity, be sure to check out our Job Posting area to find key “knowledge-based” positions at great companies throughout Michigan, including internships for college students. You are also welcome to Create a Profile that will add you to our database and allow you to receive our weekly Talent Search newsletter full of area career events and the latest job postings, and to provide us with a resume, if you’d like. If you would like to learn more about key employers, in the region, check out our Cool Growing Companies list or, as additional resource for college students, check out College Connections where you can learn about over 175 companies that regularly hire college graduates into entry level professional positions. You will also want to get familiar with our events, including Hot Shots (connect to established companies) and Mingle & Match (connect to startup companies.) If you are interested in talking to Recruiters, we have a list of recruiters that enjoy counseling opportunity seekers. You might also be interested in networking with various professional organizations, and can learn about many in our Community Connections section. You should also consider attending our Hot Shots event, and be sure to sign up for our monthly Talent Update employer newsletter to get up to date information about recruiting and training programs offered by SPARK and Washtenaw County etcs/Michigan Works! You can learn about additional programs, including state and federally funded training funds in our Corporate Career Services section.

Entrepreneurs

If you are an entrepreneur launching a business, we have special Job Posting categories specifically for entrepreneurs seeking critical talent and advisory board members! Be sure to attend Mingle & Match where you can present your business idea and meet with people that are looking to join cool, new startups! We can also connect you to key experts and service providers in our Services Offered section. If you are early in the process, you will want to take advantage of our one day Starting Your Own Business Program, where you will learn critical business information and be introduced to key resources. Lastly, you will definitely want to join the A2NewCo email group to connect with other entrepreneurs and to learn about key programs just for entrepreneurs!
